6月上旬に第14回合気道京都国際講習会に参加しました。　

下記の名人の指導を受けた。

フランス合気道のクリティアン・ティシエ師範（八段）

本部道場の宮本鶴蔵師範（八段）

合気道京都の岡本洋子師範（六段）

四日間の会場は平安神宮の敷地内にある武徳殿でした。

In early June, I attended the 14th Aikido Kyoto International Seminar.

The instructors were;

Christian Tissier (8th dan) from France,

Tsuruzo Miyamoto (8th dan) from Hombu Dojo and

Yoko Okamoto (6th dan) from the host club, Aikido Kyoto.

The 4 day event was held in the Butokuden in the grounds of Heian Jingu, a famous Shrine.

この素晴らしい歴史ある道場で稽古は感動的な経験でした。

300人の参加者の半分ぐらいは外国人だった。

フランス、ペルー、台湾、香港、アイランド、アメリカ、フィリピン、ニュージーランドなどの人がいて、白帯から黒帯のスキルレベルもいて、しかも私と稽古した人から沢山学べました。。

It was the first time for many of us to train in such an amazing, historic venue.

Around half of the participants were from abroad.

Both white belts and black belts from countries including France, Peru, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Ireland, America, the Philippines, New Zealand were there, and I learned a lot from everyone I trained with.

稽古前は賑やかで師範たちの指導は凄く楽しみにする雰囲気だった。

Before training, we were all excited to discover what the instructors had to offer.

厳しい稽古後には疲れていても笑顔に囲まれて、ワクワクの雰囲気だった。稽古は期待した通りに奥深い内容で考えたり、話したり、復習する人がいました。私も頭の中で習ったことを整理した。

Even after the rigorous training, the atmosphere was still buzzing. As expected, with the high level of instruction, people were thinking, talking and reviewing what they had learned. There was a lot to take in.

京都は暑くて、稽古が厳しくて、当日の稽古が終了になるとコインランドリーに稽古着を選択する人が多かった。

Kyoto was hot and training was hard, so at the end of the day, many of us would need to take our dogi to a local launderette.

最後の日に栃木県からの参加者の集合写真を撮っていただいた（笑）。

On the last day, I got a group photo with all the participants from Tochigi Prefecture :)

私は止まったところの近くに「哲学の道」があったので、講習会の内容を整理するために散歩しました。

The "Philosopher's road" was near where I was staying, so I took a walk to sort out my thoughts on training.

講習会の内容は私の指導に取り入れるようにしますのでここでは話さない。

しかし、気付いたことは師範の指導法は異なっているが同じ技を利用して教えたいポイント知らせる。

例えば、三人とも「天地投げ」を見せたが三人は異なったやり方・考え方があった。

皆違って、皆いい。

I won't talk here about what I learned, but it l affect how I teach from now on...

However, one thing I did notice was that although each instructor had a different teaching style, they would use the same techniques to convey their ideas.

For example, all 3 instructors showed a different method and understanding of "Tenchi Nage".

We are all different, and we are all wonderful!
